BIRDWEST is a mailing list for birdwatchers in the western and southwestern parts of the United States (California, Arizona, New Mexico, Idaho, Washington, Oregon). It consists entirely of transcribed reports from rare bird alert hotlines. Material covered is limited to rare bird reports, phone numbers of local birding societies, dates of meetings, walks, and information about birding trips. BIRDWEST is not a forum for discussion.
